Our motto: to have fun, learn and improve, whether in familiar or unfamiliar terrain, in a warm and friendly atmosphere; in short, a truly Polynesian experience. To facilitate communication during these flights and when outside ATC coverage, a voice chat room is available on our DISCORD.

The events are organised as follows:

• Events Air Tahiti VIRTUAL :

Events organised exclusively by the VA, which take place every month on a Saturday or Sunday at 19:00 or 20:00 UTC (i.e. 21:00 French time, 09:00 or 10:00 Polynesian time). Everyone is welcome, from seasoned pilots to beginners. To ensure good cohesion during the flight, a specific aircraft type and route are recommended, but everyone is free to fly the aircraft of their choice and select their own route. Maps and information about the flight area are also provided. These events are announced in the “Events > Announcements” section of the forum and on the website.

• Events outside Air Tahiti VIRTUAL:

Events organised by the FR division or other VAs that the staff invite you to take part in. These will often take place on a different day and at a different time from the VA’s own events, and will be announced on the website and on the forum in the section “Events > Non-VTA Events“.

An annual participation leaderboard is being set up on the forum to reward the most active pilots in the company! Take part in an event, either as a pilot or an air traffic controller, and you’ll earn a point – or even more.
