Rules and Regulations

I. Introduction to the company

The airline is a virtual representation of the real-life airline AIR TAHITI. The name, logo and other references to the real-life airline have been adopted by our virtual airline with the consent of the real-life airline’s management. Air Tahiti VIRTUAL (abbreviated to VTA) is therefore a virtual airline operating from the Tahiti hub and serving the islands of French Polynesia via the main airline or its subsidiaries. VTA operates primarily on the IVAO (International Virtual Aviation Organisation) and VATSIM networks as an independent (uncertified) VA.

Finally, even though ‘offline’ flying is permitted, we encourage you to fly on the IVAO and/or VATSIM networks to make your experience as realistic as possible (as real as it gets).

II. Registering with VTA

Any driver wishing to register with VTA must provide the following:

      • First name

      • Name

      • Email address

      • Country of residence

      • VID IVAO / VATSIM / FSHUB

      • Password

As a VTA member, you will have access to our download centre. There you will find add-ons, repaints and scenes, some of which may have been created by members of the company. In any case, each file is the exclusive property of its creator, whose name is displayed next to each download link. By joining VTA, you agree to respect these files and not to distribute them by any means (download sites, email, other virtual airlines, etc.). Please do not hesitate to contact the author of these files or the airline’s management if you have any questions.

Registration is confirmed once approved by the company’s staff. The company reserves the right to refuse registration to any person who does not meet the admission criteria. The Owner or the Director will provide the pilot with the reasons for any such refusal. Registration implies full and unconditional acceptance of these rules. By joining VTA, you undertake to respect these files and not to distribute them by any means (download sites, email, other virtual airlines, etc.). Please do not hesitate to contact the author of these files or the company management if you have any questions.

A member of staff from an external racing team cannot register as a driver with VTA.

All pilots must complete at least one flight within 15 days of registering. If a pilot has not completed a flight within 15 days of registering, their Air Tahiti VIRTUAL account will be deleted without notice. If a pilot is unable to complete a flight within 15 days of registering, they must notify the staff immediately to ensure their account is not deleted.

Any racist, divisive or abusive comments made by a VTA member towards any member of the community (whether or not they are a VTA member), regardless of the platform (forums, social media, IVAO, VATSIM, FsHub, etc.), will result in an automatic and permanent ban from VTA and the forum. VTA is a friendly community where hate speech and political rhetoric have no place. Any member may report to the staff any comments that may offend another member via email or private message.

Finally, the website, forum and all content exclusive to VTA (scenes, repaints, events, etc.) remain the sole property of their respective authors. Any copying, distribution or reproduction without the author’s prior consent will also result in a permanent ban from VTA, and legal action may be taken. Please refer to the website’s legal notice for further details.

III. Update to the regulations

These Rules may be updated at any time by the company’s staff. Once such changes have been made, an email will be sent to all members to inform them of the changes. If the pilot does not respond within two days of the email being sent, their acceptance of the new version of the rules will be deemed to have been tacitly approved.

IV. Company staff

The company’s staff are appointed by the Owner (CEO). Any member of the company who meets the following criteria may apply for a vacant position.

  • Have an active account with Air Tahiti VIRTUAL

If you meet these criteria please contact us and provide us with the following information:
