Air Tahiti Virtual Awards

At Air Tahiti VIRTUAL, you can enjoy a fulfilling life as a virtual pilot: from flying single-engine VFR aircraft to a full-fledged career as an airline pilot! As you progress, you will achieve different ranks, depending on your experience.

Ranks

Trainee Pilot (TP)

From registration to 25 hours of flight time.

Private Pilot Licence (PPL)

From 25 flying hours to 150 flying hours.

Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL)

From 150 flying hours to 500 flying hours.

Flight Deck Officer (FDO)

From 500 flying hours to 1,000 flying hours.

Captain (CAP)

From 1,000 flying hours.

Instructor (FI)

This special rank is automatically awarded to all staff members. It may also be awarded to any member who is a Captain (i.e. with over 1,000 flying hours) and who has demonstrated exceptional commitment to Air Tahiti Virtual.

The awards

Air Tahiti VIRTUAL also has a rewards scheme.

The Awards cover flights, but also the pilots’ social activities. Other awards may appear on certain accounts; these are older flight-related awards that no longer exist at Air Tahiti VIRTUAL.

Awards won prior to the introduction of FsHub management (February 2026) are listed on the VTA driver profiles.

From February 2026, awards earned on VTA tours will be displayed on pilot accounts FsHub.

Air Tahiti VIRTUAL will, however, be able to continue awarding badges – primarily social media badges – which will be visible on VTA pilots’ profiles
